Why Does This Ad Make Us Feel So Wrong?

This ad is in trashy American tabloid magazine, US Weekly.

Are we the only ones whothink it’s a bit wrong? 

I mean, she only looks about 13 years old … and the only word on the page is ‘YES’ [which we presume is the name of the ‘fashion label’]

And even if the clothing range is aimed at kids, it still feels wrong [it’s that solitary ‘YES’ that really bugs us] 

So are we puritantical gits living in the 15th century, or a bunch of perverts for thinking there’s something ‘dodgy’ about what is basically, a photograph of an innocent, fresh-faced girl?  You decide.
